(Orlando, FL) – The Florida Flight has been invited by the Orlando Magic to play the Mickael Pietrus-sponsored Team CSR (Guadalupe) at the Amway Arena.
The invitation is an extension of the Magic’s Court of Dreams initiative, where the NBA team provides an opportunity for individuals to play basketball on a bonafide NBA hardwood court.
This will be the second time the two teams compete. The Flight training camp roster squared off against Team CSR during the Flight’s 2013 pre-season. Team CSR won the contest 65-60. The Flight will feature most of their official 2014 roster for the upcoming rematch.
“I’m extremely grateful to Antonio Perez and the entire Orlando Magic family for extending this opportunity to us,” said Mark King, Owner and Head Coach of the Flight. “The Flight exists to provide a development and exposure platform that enables players to continue their pursuit of a professional basketball career. Our players are very talented, but for many of them, this might be the closest they get to playing on an actual NBA court. That’s what you call Pure Magic!
The game will be held at the Amway Arena on Saturday, November 1st. Tickets are available for fans wishing to attend. In accordance with the Magic’s Court of Dreams Initiative, each ticket will also provide fans with admission to the Orlando Magic-Toronto Raptors game that same evening.
